Overview: Overall I’m happy with the 22” light bar +Harness kit. I have a 2022 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium. As you’ll see in the pictures, the factory LED Low Beams & High Beams perform really well at night. The Lasfit light bar just adds to that will additional flood beams giving the light beam pattern a more rounded look, whereas the factory LED headlights are a flat line, only shining maybe 10 feet of the ground.
Quality: Excellent, especially for the price. Solid aluminum body, the 22” light bar is fairly lightweight, looks professionally built, the clear polycarbonate optics look great! The Osram diode chips perform well as they are the leader in LED technology.
Price: Excellent, I’m not sure if you can find a single row light bar with this level of performance and quality under $100.
Appearance: With the white Lasfit logos on the side to the satin black appearance, this light bar is all business. Looks great behind my TRD Pro Grille (see pics). My TRD Pro Grille is a satin/matte black as well, perfect match.
Accessories: I purchased my 22” light bar with the wire/switch accessory package for a seamless install. Almost plug and play, no cutting of wires. Just locate the provided switch where you want it, then boom: 10,500 Lumens of raw illumination!
Performance, Brightness and Beam Pattern (Spot/Flood): Super bright! However, the factory LED Low/High beams on the Toyota 4Runner perform super well, it’s a nice flat beam pattern. Now, I spent a lot of time aiming this lightbar to find the perfect balance to complement my High Beams. I couldn’t tell if this light bar can outperform the distance of my factory High Beams. Its close, you can decide from the pictures. Now, my focus for purchasing this light bar was not so much for the spot pattern, I was hoping for more of a flood pattern. You can see in the pictures, when the light bar is turned on, you get about 100 degrees of light through from the upper grille location. This is where the light bar shined on my vehicle. As you can see in the pictures, the flood pattern shows how round and high the flood patter protrudes through the darkness. The pictures attached to this review are: Low Beams Only, High Beams Only, High Beams/w Light Bar, then just the Light Bar by itself. The pictures show a field of over 400 yards, and the light bar shines further than the 400-yard mark. You decide!
Vehicle Application(s): I installed this on my 2022 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium. I installed a TRD Pro Grille so the light bar could shine through. The 2020+ T4R’s have a new TSS sensor that block the middle of the lower grille assembly. So, I felt that the only probably area to utilize the performance of a light bar, is through the upper grill portion.
Summary: Overall, I’m very please with this light bar and the performance. If I could suggest any improvements, maybe look at creating a flood/driving pattern. The newer vehicles have decent LED Low/High beams from the factory now days. Maybe focus on the peripheral angles of the vehicle where the factory lights don’t perform well. I would love to see a double row of this 22” light bar, that would be helpful for the 2020+ T4R crowd. I appreciate how clean and centered this light bar looks behind that TRD Pro Grille. It almost looks like a factory installed addition. Super clean!
