How to Install The Pro-G2 LED Bulb on Passat?
Step 1: Open the hood. The stock halogen bulb is located near the outer edge of the housing. The H11 bulb is located near the middle of the stock housing.
Step 2: Reach in behind the stock assembly and remove the rubber dust cap.
Step 3: Rotate the grey plastic halogen H7 bulb holder/adapter and turn counterclockwise before pulling it out of the housing.
Step 4: Reinsert the new LASFIT LED bulb into the housing and secure it in place.
Step 5: Put the rubber dust cap back in to place. Test the new light bulbs by turning on the lights.

Everything great after installation. The increase in brightness and range were exactly what I was looking for.
I did run in to a challenge getting them fitted- the difference in the rubber gasket thickness wasn’t as clear until after I’d pulled the housing and still run in to an issue getting the bulb to engage. So note to any of you that run in to any issues getting that last “click” in to place- try the other included gasket.

VW OEM Poor Lasfit aftermarket Great
On my second set of Lasfit LED for my Passat. After 5 years one of my bulbs became noticably weaker so I bit the bullet and purchased a replacement set.
New set was much easier to install than the originals I purchased 5 years ago. They are performing as expected.
Expensive yes but worth it as replacing regular H7 bulbs every 50 hrs or so would add up. . .
