Today, we had the great pleasure and honor to interview Mr.Trenton online, an off-road enthusiast.
He enjoys off-road adventures and loves to create more relevant and awesome content to help people make better choices and share the joy of adventure with them! Now, let's welcome Mr.Trenton!👏👏👏
Lasfit: Hi, Mr.Trenton, it's so nice that you accepted our interview. Your pros comments can not only help us to make improvements in time, but more importantly, they can be an important reference for friends who like our off-road products.
Trenton: Thanks for your invitation, and I'm quite happy to share some of my thoughts with off-roaders.
Lasfit: Now that off-road is mentioned, what're your thoughts on the right lighting strategies for off-roading and overlanding?
Trenton: I think knowing the correct lighting to use is a big deal. You can have the best lights in the world but if you have the wrong beam pattern for your use case you will be disappointed.
Lasfit: It does! So could you tell us what's your vehicle's MMY and what product did you buy from Lasfit for your vehicle?
Trenton: Yep, the MMY is a 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. I purchased the 3in Led pod HP series off-road hood ditch light.
Lasfit: Catch to the point, we have designed four types of output beam patterns, providing different illumination distances and widths, so which beam pattern did you choose? Cause you mentioned having the right beam pattern is essential for off-roading and overlanding.
Trenton: I chose the Flood Yellow Light with 2603.54LM output because the floodlight offers me a super brightness and a wider range. Floodlights also produce an even spread wide beam pattern, great for rural or wide-open areas. It helps to see clearly in any area when traveling or campground.
Lasfit: So why did you want to have pod lights?
Trenton: Before I bought these lights I was hoping to replace my old setup. I needed more output and my old orange color was not cutting it for me.
Lasfit: Did it finally come true with our product?
Trenton: Absolutely! Replacing my lights with the Lasfit 3inch HP Pods I was blown away. These lights outperformed my old lights in build quality and output by a long shot! And using the Lasfit pods on the trails was amazing. It was honestly a night and day difference. I was able to see way further on the trails.
Lasfit: Glad to hear that our pod light meets your expectations. By the way, could you tell us the Top 3 Features you like about our pod light?
Trenton: My TOP 3 features I love about the 3" Lasfit pods are the overall design, I think the pods look great. The build quality and paint are fantastic, I love the paint choice on the pods. My last favorite point is the light output. It is awesome to be able to see on the trails.
Lasfit: Nice Catch! So would you recommend Lasfit pod lights to your friends?
Trenton: Definitely! I would recommend Lasfit pods to all of my friends. These lights perform amazingly on the trails and my friends would love them.
Lasfit: In the process of building a vehicle, installation is essential, especially with off-road lights. Can you share with us your installation process informatively with each step? Your instructive guide will help more people build confidence with their installations.
Trenton: I installed the pods on my hood as ditch lights. This required me to buy mounting brackets and the wiring harness. I then got the lights on the mounts and ran the wiring. Connecting to the battery and running the harness through the firewall of my Tacoma. I then wired in a specific switch for ditch lights and connected the wiring harness to it.
Lasfit: Good job! The last question, I'd like to ask is what mods/builds are you going to do for your vehicle in the near future?
Trenton: My next mods on my overland Tacoma will be a roof rack setup and light bar, from there I will be doing suspension work and bigger tires.
Lasfit: We also especially offer 12"-52" light bars for off-roaders, which may be a good choice for you too!
Trenton: It must be a good try!
Lasfit: Well, our interview is almost over, thank you very much for taking the time today to answer my questions.
Trenton: Absolutely, I'm quite happy to do that.
*Hopefully, this helps you out if you're in the market for some new off-road lights and/or are curious about the Lasfit 3″ LEDs. As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or comments.
