My name is Scotty Moxey, I live on the eastern shore of Maryland. The environment around here is flatland, with marsh, fields, wetlands, beaches, woods, and roads. I started off riding dirt bikes and had a passion for riding. When I was looking for a bike, I wanted something that was capable on and off-road. I don't like to be limited when I'm riding, so I will always be riding a dual sport or endo bike.
When I was looking for fog lights, I wanted something that had good ground coverage and was good-looking. I didn't want a beam that just lit up a view in front of you. As far as color goes, I've always found the yellow look more attractive, as you can differ the beam from your headlight to see just how effective it is. When I'm looking for certain lights, I want the beam that is appropriate for the situation.
The Lasfit 3" pod yellow fog lights met just that. I chose this pattern to also be suitable for street use, so it wasn’t blinding to other drivers. I mounted them on a custom bracket under the headlight. I would make sure the beams are focused in the correct direction. There was some custom fitting for hiding the wires and harness.
I want a product that has quality but also is affordable. So far I love them, they are performing just how I wanted. I would absolutely recommend it for the quality, functionality, and interchangeability.
I also liked the hardware and wiring, I only wish I had gotten some stickers from it to advertise. The lights function just the way they should and I have had no issues since installation.
They light up the area in front of me and haven’t let me down yet. Hopefully, it stays that way. I like how the lights came with brackets and hardware to make them interchangeable on multiple vehicles.
*Hopefully, this helps you out if you're in the market for some new off-road lights and/or are curious about the Lasfit 3″ LEDs. As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or comments.
