 1. A brief introduction to the Lasfit brand

Lasfit, recognized for its high-quality LED products like headlights and taillights, has now launched its outstanding floor mats. These mats are crafted with precision and innovation, made from a unique TPE material that is recyclable, eco-friendly, durable, and lightweight. They feature an excellent anti-slip texture, ensuring they stay securely in place even during rough rides. With carefully designed grooves and contours, these mats effectively trap dirt, mud, water, and snow, helping to keep your vehicle's interior clean and protected.

 2. Unboxing experience of Lasfit floor mats

Packaging: The Lasfit floor mats come in a well-designed box, securely wrapped in plastic shrink wrap, which immediately conveys a sense of quality and attention to detail in their packaging.

Material: The mats are made from TPE material, which not only makes them eco-friendly but also offers flexibility and durability, allowing them to endure daily wear and various weather conditions.

Design: The rear floor mat is designed as a one-piece unit for crew cab trucks (and can also fit extended or double cab trucks depending on the model). It is expertly molded to fit snugly under the back seats and around any toolbox. The strategically placed grooves facilitate efficient drainage of liquids and debris, preventing buildup that could lead to damage or mess. Additionally, the anti-slip design on the underside ensures stability, preventing any unwanted movement. The front floor mats are also lightweight and are tailored to fit perfectly over the footwell area, accommodating the pedals comfortably. They feature the Lasfit logo and ribbing on both sides to enhance the anti-slip capability and manage the collection of water, mud, and other substances.

 3. Comparison: Features of GM products and Lasfit products

Comparison of rear floor mats:

-GM floor mats: These mats usually come in a two-piece design that connects together. While this feature makes them easier to handle, they often tend to slide under the vehicle's storage compartment. This can complicate the process of removing and replacing them, especially when dirt and debris accumulate in that area. The GM mats have longer tails that extend further and a flat design that fits beneath the storage compartment. Proper installation and removal require careful alignment and insertion under the storage piece, which can be inconvenient.

-Lasfit floor mats: The Lasfit rear mat features a one-piece design that greatly simplifies installation and removal. It can be easily rolled out and positioned without the hassle of multiple pieces or tucking it under storage. The lip at the back of the Lasfit mat protects the storage area and provides a more streamlined appearance. Although it may feel slightly loose at first, it is expected to better conform to the vehicle floor over time. Cleaning is also straightforward, as it can be quickly removed and hosed down with minimal effort.

Comparison of front floor mats:

- GM floor mats: These mats feature a Z71 badge. Although they have been in use for several years and show some signs of wear, they remain in overall good condition. They have relatively tall sides, but when removing them, you must maneuver past the seat control. The height of protection near the center console is average.

- Lasfit floor mats: Installation is simple, and the sides can create a flush edge with the vehicle's floor. However, the height on the side next to the center console is lower than that of the GM mats, resulting in slightly less protection for the plastic area. Nonetheless, the fit is good, and the locking mechanisms function properly, although it may take some time to determine the correct placement for the locks. The overall appearance is neater and less prone to trapping debris underneath.

For underseat storage of front floors, Lasfit focus on the details and you could see they make upper height for the Heel area's protection, which is the areas most likely to be stepped on and enter dirt.

 4. The blogger's own recommendations

- For rear floor mats: The blogger thinks that Lasfit's rear floor mats are more suitable for winter use. With their one-piece design, no need to tuck under the storage compartment, easy taking in and out, and light weight, they have an advantage over GM's rear floor mats.

- For front floor mats: The evaluation is a bit mixed. If you don't have floor mats before, Lasfit is a great option. If compared with GM's nice Z71 floor mats, each has its own pros and cons. Lasfit can prevent some things from getting into the carpet, and some of the side protections are acceptable. The overall fit is good, but there is room for improvement in terms of some protection heights
