Trail Story

This month, Dan has explored Skeleton Ridge Road. He really enjoyed the serenity of being off the grid and surrounded by nature and seeing something new for the first time. This is an easy trail for any level of off-roader to explore! Let's welcome Dan to share more of this trail's stories, experiences, knowledge, and techniques with us now.🥳

"We went Drummond Island which has several fun trails and great scenery. We didn't need any recoveries but there were a few larger water crossings that could have been troublesome."

"I have been off-roading for about 15 years all over the country. I grew up in the southwest, so I often find myself on adventures in that part of the country. I am here to help people learn that they do not have to have a fully built out $70,000 Wrangler, Taco or 4Runner to have a blast on the trail."

"The sense of adventure. When things go smoothly, you feel as though your preparations made everything work. When things get bumpy, the sense of accomplishment makes it all worth it."

"We are outdoorsy and just have to have the nature fix of clean fresh air, running waters, and towering trees around us. Sleeping in our rooftop tent overlooking valleys, ridges and lakes keeps us content and resets our minds from the busy go-go lifestyle of business. Seeking trails out, testing my skills, and just having fun we keep off-roading to find those unique places."

"This was an easy trail with epic scenery starting on the north side of town and up into the foothills and mountains that we all stare at every day! Quite a few in the group had done this loop before on 4 wheelers and such, but never in their Bronco's! Epic scenery, fun ruts, and a few good climbs with a couple rocky sections even. A fun winding switchback ridge trail with non stop amazing views of the Treasure Valley."
