Introduction
So, if you are like me you probably hate when the low tire pressure notification shows up on your dash and then you have to go out of your way to the gas station to fill up the air. Yeah, that's happened to me plenty of times.Or, I'm about to play a game of basketball, and the ball is flat.
Let me tell you about this Portable Smart Air Inflator from Lasfit (model LAP-CR1). In short, this thing is a lifesaver!
First Impressions
The inflator came in a small pouch/carrying case which includes the inflator box, 2 hoses, car charger, USB A to C cable(for charging the inflator, can be charged with either USB A or USB C), and several air nozzles for different uses (inflate bike tires, balls). Another cool feature of the inflator is it comes with an LED light which is very handy to have at night(comes in two modes: steady and blinking). The inflator itself looked to be of good build quality.

User Experience
Upon turning on the unit(Tip: long press the power button to turn on/off), the battery indicator, two pressure value numbers(top: actual measured pressure, bottom: preset value pressure) The preset value can be adjusted by using the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons. There is also a symbol of a car which means the inflator is in car mode. Other available modes are motorcycle, bike, and ball which can be changed by pressing the ‘M’ button. The digital read-out is pretty straightforward. Lastly, the default pressure unit is set to PSI by default but can be toggled to other units(BAR,KPA, kg/cm2) by long pressing the ‘M’ button

To connect the hose to the air pipe connector, simply insert the male connector of the hose to the air pipe connector and turn clockwise to tighten. If you don’t connect it properly, the connection will not be stable and the hose will come off easily. There are two hoses that come with the unit and either can be used.
To use the unit to inflate the car tires, simply insert the other side of the hose to the tire valve and screw it on by turning clockwise until you can no longer turn it. Tip: Make sure the connections are properly connected on the unit and to the tire valve before using the inflator.
Upon correct connection, the inflator will provide the current read-out of the tire pressure. To start the inflation, press the power button, the motor inside the inflator will start running, and do its thing. Once it reaches the preset value, the motor will stop automatically. Note the inflator box does vibrate while in use so you might want to hold on to it if you see it moving away.
For my car the recommended tire pressure is 33 psi so I had set the preset value to 33 and the indicator showed that my current tire pressure was 34 for one of my tires.
Next I tested the air inflator on my basketball. After connecting the ball needle/nozzle to the hose, change the application mode to ‘ball mode’. Inserting the ball needle into the ball inflation hole provided the current pressure.
It turns out my basketball was a little low on air (it's supposed to be between 7 and 9 PSI). I hit the power button, the motor started up, and the ball was filled up to the right amount (8 PSI) in just a few seconds. It turned off by itself when it was done.
Conclusion
After having the opportunity to test the inflator out on my car tires and ball, I can conclude it is an extremely useful device to have on hand, especially in unexpected situations. In addition to inflating the car tires, it can also be used to inflate other items such as bicycle tires, sports balls. This makes it a great all-around tool to have in the garage, at home, or on the go. It also features a user-friendly control panel with a digital display that shows the current pressure, making it simple to monitor and adjust the inflation level as needed.
Another great thing about this inflator is that it's compact. It's not bulky at all, so it's super easy to take with you or keep in your car's trunk. It comes with a carrying case to keep all the accessories together and protected. Plus, it comes with two hoses, so if one breaks, you have a spare. The hoses are a good length too.
The inflator's power options are also great. Being able to charge it either by a USB cable(A or C) or a car charger, giving you the flexibility to use it at home or on the go. This is a thoughtful touch that ensures you're never caught unprepared. Also after a few minutes of non-use it will automatically shut off to conserve battery
It's a little loud when the motor is doing its thing but that's a minor inconvience for all the things it can do.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with the air inflator. It seems to be a well-made device that's easy to use, versatile, and portable. This inflator is a valuable tool to have when those unexpected situations arise.
